Getting Lost in Los Olivos

At least once a year I take a trip to one of my favorite places in California for a little R & R.  Nestled in the valley just north of Santa Barbara, is the central coast wine region of Santa Ynez, made famous by Sideways.  Several little towns make up the Santa Ynez area- including Solvang, a surreal Danish village (you’d swear you were in Denmark), and my personal favorite, Los Olivos.  The real-life Mayberry (seriously!), Los Olivos is picturesque and perfect.  While enjoying my getaway to Santa Ynez last week, I spent the first day of the trip exploring Los Olivos, and tasting at the neighboring Bridlewood Vineyard (one of my absolute favorites!) It felt like springtime, and so I chose a bohemian look with the new “Medallion” skirt from Laine by Lauren Elaine, paired with a comfy, oversized sweater. SHOP “Medallion” here.
