What is a Trunk Show? This may be one of the most common questions we’re asked from curious brides (especially since we host so many in different cities across the US!) Considering Bridal Trunk Shows can be a completely different experience from one brand/salon to the next, let’s discuss the basics, and what makes a Lauren Elaine Bridal Trunk Show so special and unique!


Essentially, a Trunk Show is a special event where the newest pieces of a designer’s collection can be viewed and fitted, usually prior to its full public release. Like a runway show that debuts the newest collections to press and media outlets, a trunk show debuts the newest wedding gowns from a brand – directly to brides. If hosted at a bridal salon, a trunk show may feature the entire new collection or just a few select pieces. Typically hosted over a single weekend, it is a special event where brides can fit and purchase new styles and often at a special discounted price.
What is a Lauren Elaine Trunk Show? The special experience that we bring to cities across the country is similar to a lot of Trunk Show experiences BUT with some unparalleled key differences…

1. A Lauren Elaine Trunk Show always features the newest releases AND our full collection including many classics! We’re talking TONS of gowns, so we can provide the exact same experience at our trunk show city as offered when visiting the Lauren Elaine Flagship Salon in Los Angeles.

2. Each appointment is fully private for you and your guests. At the start of your appointment, you’ll be treated to champagne in a personalized and relaxed environment. We host our exclusive trunk show experience in luxury hotel bridal suites in each city we visit, transforming the bridal suite into your personal bridal salon. Prior to your appointment, a design team member will place a phone call with you to go over your vision, date, and preferred budget to help curate your private appointment and ensure we have all of the gorgeous samples you’ve requested and we’ve tailored to your requests.
3. Appointments are limited and we usually fully book up! Since we offer a fully private experience for each of our brides, we can only accommodate a certain number of brides for each trunk show weekend. We always recommend booking your appointment and securing your preferred time slot as soon as you know you’d like to attend. We always try to accommodate each bride’s preferred time and date availability but you can ensure your appointment is secured by booking early and/or booking a “Luxe” appointment.
4. Attending a Lauren Elaine Trunk Show ensures you will receive the largest discounts that we offer. As a special event, we offer one-time-only promotions for brides looking to create and purchase their custom Lauren Elaine gown. In addition to generous discounts off of gowns, our Trunk Shows also offers additional “gifts” such as complimentary matching veils and detachable cathedral trains when booking our ‘Luxe’ appointment.

What a trunk show is NOT? A Lauren Elaine Trunk Show is not a bridal event with dozens of brides lining up for hours to try on a few limited styles. It is also not to be confused with a Sample Sale, which features discounted gowns that have been previously worn as floor samples.
